Google Offers Free Wifi on Planes

The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.

  Google plans to provide free wireless internet access on Virgin Airlines flying the United States domestic routes starting from November 10th. The idea is to help people confirm airport pick up time, make gift shopping easier on Google product search or search Google for that vital information before landing.

The company accepted the fact that such technology if not properly deployed would interfere with airplane communication. However, they were swift to add that Google Wi-Fi internet access on plane would be an exception and would not be a safety hazard.
